Object on grounds of Noise & Air pollution. I live in St Albans and the flights to / from Luton already pass over us regularly causing noise and contributing massively to air pollution. Luton had the highest air pollution for a town of its size. The plans to double passenger numbers will also lead to a lot more traffic and congestion on the roads around and main routes in to Luton, again causing more pollution.
