I now live under the flightpath into Luton airport. It is already very busy and we suffer from a considerable amount of noise. I think the planes should be routed over areas that are already tolerating these noise levels. They are used to it. We are not. They won’t even hear the extra planes. We will be severely affected by the extra noise. We live in a tiny village with very low ambient noise levels. You can hear a sparrow fart. So when these planes go over we are very disturbed. I have been woken up by them many times,and lack of sleep can affect my mental health. Send the planes over major conurbations… the people won’t even hear them.
