Mine & my children’s physical & mental health, due to pollution by a huge increase in flights & increased traffic & traffic lights making simple journeys such as school run, shopping & work commute to be an absolute nightmare and unbearable. The safety of my children attending a school which would be on a main route into terminal 2. Being so built up between an extended airport and proposed new housing development for houses in the thousands basically on my doorstep. Building on every last piece of open land, if I wanted to live in a concrete world I would move to London, we are not a large city, we are a small town. Increased noise level. Moving of the current park that is accessible to families to a further away location, too far out for a parent walking with small children & buggies, also an open invitation for unsociable behaviour. Issues with airport parking making its way into the Wigmore estate. The trees & wildlife that live in and around them that make this part of Luton a lovely place to live would just be destroyed and doesn’t bare thinking about. Getting out for a nice long walk around the park & fields with the dog at the end of each stressful day is just what is needed to keep mental health at bay.
