The expansion of Luton Airport will considerably damage the environment where my house [REDACTED] is. There will be an increase in noise which is detrimental to our lives, the environmental impact has not been thoroughly considered, and little consideration for what local jobs will be lost. The increase in flights will substantially diminish the value of my house. The reason I choose to have a house in the countryside is to have reduced noise, cleaner air and a countryside environment rather than the pollution and noise of a city. Luton Airport adds no value to the local community and only serves the economic interests of the Council and commercial airlines and there is a disbenefit for the local community. I will be unable to put in place the plans for a small business, benefiting the local community and creating jobs, in [REDACTED] if the expansion goes ahead.
