The day-to-day life of the community, and our house has not been considered in the expansion plans for Luton Airport. The increase in noise, and being under a flight path for substantially increased numbers of take-offs and landings will be extremely detrimental to my enjoyment of my property. The environmental impact seems to be given very low consideration by those in favour of expansion, and the noise, pollution and environmental impact of an increase in flights over my property not properly investigated. I would want to have compensation for any increase in the current levels of actiivity, including the long term environmental impacts, effect on people to choose to live in this area for the future, noise and air pollution consequences . I would also insist on full transparency of who is making decisions about the airport and the involvement of the local authority in this process and any real or potential conflicts of interest.
