Request for guidance or set of requirements regarding the preliminary meeting.

Advice given

The Examining authority must give at least 21 days notice of the date, time and place of the preliminary meeting and the matters to be discussed at the meeting, in accordance with rule 6 of the Infrastructure Planning (Examination Procedure) Rules 2010. The Examining authority would be likely to send the letter of notice well in advance of this 21 day deadline.

Advice Note 8.4 provides information on the preliminary meeting.
