Assuming EDF is given planning consent for Hinkley PointC, could it delay the start of the project for a period of time, possibly years?

Advice given

Draft Development Consent Order provides that the authorised project must commence within 5 years of the date of the Order, as stated in the PW1 (Project Wide Requirement), in Schedule 11 (Requirements) of the DCO. That particular Requirement can be found on page 113.
