Thank you for sending your letter of the 13th October regarding the process for registering to have a say regarding the above application.

Due to work commitments, I am unable to attend any of the drop-ins today, but would be pleased if you could please keep me informed of developments and include me in the process for registering to have a say.

As I represent the British Horse Society membership in the Central Bedfordshire area (of which we have over 700), I am keen, as we all are, to have as much off road riding as possible. Please could I ask if consideration could be given to horse riding access in the area with a link to those bridleways already in existence such as those around the Forest of Marston Vale. Also, some form of secure parking for lorries and trailers would also be on my wish list! The British Horse Society has published a book entitled "Bedfordshire on Horseback" and I myself wrote three of the routes, one of which takes in Wootton and Marston and it is used by many riders, both local and those coming from afar to ride the area.

Many thanks for your letter and I look forward to receiving further information in due course, but realise that the wheels turn very slowly. Elaine M. Dear, British Horse Society Bridleway Officer, Central Beds. area.
