Friston is totally unsuitable for this proposed huge development which will destroy a vast swath of very attractive peaceful countryside much enjoyed by locals and a large tourist industry. Friston village already suffers heavy flooding which will be aggravated by great areas of concrete. There are many footpaths across the proposed area. Hares are regularly sighted. The road access is totally inadequate. There will be intrusive noise from the transformers. I [Redacted] as do a number of others in the village. The Grade 2* village church is very close and exposed to the site. There are 3 Grade 2 listed thatched cottages next to the church. An offshore ring main would solve these problems including the further ones to come.
