The proposed site is completely unsuitable because, It would tower over the village of Fristonand would be visible from most of the village including the village green. It would overshadow the medieval church and historic houses. It would increase the current flood problem for the village. The noise when running would affect all residents. The roads are not capable of handling the hgv's traffic either during construction or when running. It would be built on valuable and beautiful farm land. This site is not suitable for the following reasons:- This part of Suffolk is a maze of narrow lanes and roads, all subject to regular and serious flooding, congestion and accidents. The cliff formation of the coastline designated for the landfall of the cables is constantly eroding, the latest cliff fall was just last month. 2. 83 acres of good fertile land , primarily used for agriculture and leisure will be lost. 3. The height of the substation is unacceptable except in an authoritarian state. All this destruction for profit made by a foreign (Spanish) company. I don't think we would be allowed to do this on Spanish soil. 4. Close by is a nuclear power station with spare space already ruined - why not do that
