Individual interested party. I am oppose the SPR development at Thorpeness and Friston due to the destruction of Wildlife Habitat and the damage to the unstable cliffs at Thorpeness. The area is unsuitable for Industrialisation due to the existing road infrastructure, which are narrow lanes and mostly 'B' roads. The area has a thriving Tourist industry which will be destroyed by the disruption of the 7KM Cable route, and the building of a Giant and unsightly Substations in Friston and Thorpeness. The construction noise and the lights will distress the wildlife and residents. This will also deter tourists from coming to the area. The jobs which will be created, will be in Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Harwich. Therefore, the destruction caused by this development will not benefit Friston or Thorpeness, it will only be detrimental to the area. There must be a Brownfield site which should be used near Lowestoft or Great Yarmouth, or use existing cable routes at Bawdsey, which was agreed in 2014, when the planning permission was Granted.
