I have been resident in Friston for 14 years and came here to lead a peaceful life enjoying the countryside. With the proposed EA1N project this will be a thing of the past. 1.The countryside will be changed for ever into an industrial site, no longer will we be able to walk freely along designated historical footpaths and the visual impact will be horrific. 2. Recently we have experienced flooding and with the intended "drainage pools" the risk of flooding is hugely increased due to the flow path, into the heart of the village. 3. From the windows of our 12th Century GradeII * listed Church the view will be of a mass of ugly ironmongery and totally unacceptable. Why is it that other wind farm substations (eg Rampion substation in West Sussex) have been constructed with much lower profiles to minimise the appearance? We have been informed that there will be high security lighting installed which will run day and night. The impact of this will be considerable and unacceptable. PLEASE take note of all these points when considering the Planning Application. Margaret Fife
