I am deeply concerned about the impact on the locality of the number of energy projects occurring simultaneously over 12 to 15 years. The substations proposed are dangerously close to a small village and will complete dominate it. The cable trenches will destroy an environmentally sensitive area. The local network of roads is unsuitable for the volume and scale of traffic required. Huge damage will be done to the wildlife in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and ancient woodland will be destroyed. All of this will affect the economy of the area which depends on tourism.
