Dear Planning Authority, I understand that it is Scottish Power Renewables' (SPR) hope to build two electrical substations in an area between Friston and Knodishall and moreover that even more may be built in the ensuing years following completion of this initial project. I strongly object to this planning application for the following reasons: The cumulative impact on local communities; The ruination of the beautiful countryside between Thorpeness and Friston; The proximity of the project and its massive impact on all the dwellings in the villages and the wild-life in an area of outstanding natural beauty; The impact of lorries and plant on local roads that are quite inadequate to cater for such traffic; I trust you will consider all of the above and give thought to alternative planning for these developments.
