My objection to this scheme, (and any other of a similar nature), is that it demonstrates a total lack of strategic planning for the future energy needs of the United Kingdom. It is incomprehensible that such schemes should be proposed individually for a country as geographically small as the U.K. Has no-one in either the power industry, nor the Government even thought of looking at the country as a whole and taking into account not only where the energy is coming from, but also where it is needed, as well as how to do the least harmin linking the two.
