The proposed Area for construction are tiny villages quite unsuitable for a huge substation, which will dwarf them There are insufficient shops from all the workers on the building site The roads are too narrow for the construction traffic. The famous tranquillity and charm of the area will deter tourists who are traditional along the coast since Victorian Times , put off by the heavy traffic , on which local businesses depend The local wildlife will be adversely affected. Are there not brownfield sites which could be used for the substation?
