I wish to object to this application broadly because of the industrialisation of this part of the country which is so environmentally sensitive. The proposals, among other damaging factors will include: Overloading local roads and services with thousands of heavy goods vehicles- danger to pedestrians, cyclists. Cabling and trenching on unspoilt countryside Huge substations in rural situations. Loss of valuable farmland. Negative impact on tourism, wildlife. Destruction of ancient woodland. Noise pollution. May I suggest the consideration of Orford Ness as a more suitable site for this proposal as most of the materials could be brought in by sea.
