I object to use of unspoilt countryside at Friston and around for substation complexes of enormous sizes. They will alter the tranquillity of the Sandlings Heath and surroundings. Tourism in East Suffolk will be adversely affected. Local business will be adversely affected.The 7 energy projects cumulatively will destroy the peace and tranquillity of the area for which it is known. If these developments have to be sited as planned, build the substations deep underground as (Redacted) Germany did 80 years ago siting the V1 and V2 rocket sites in deep concrete bunkers in NW France where their impact on those areas is small. I ask you to extend cables, etc. and substations from the coastline inland at an adequate depth to achieve a similar effect locally. Preservation of our local environment is essential. Your plans will destroy it..
