Wind farm technology is necessary and it must be implemented in such a way that it minimises ecological harm to the local environment. In this regard I am disappointed that the proposals to bring wind power onshore are failing to protect the east Suffolk coast from irreversible damage. The project is not using existing brownfield sites such as sizewell power station in preference for green field sites. Further more there seems little coordination and sharing of infrastructure sites between the various power generating companies. This project requires more central government coordination so as to minimise the environmental impact. It seems to me that the private companies involved are not looking to each other to share resources and reduce environmental impact for reasons of commercial interest. Government must step on and insist on a joined up project that minimises environmental damage
