The impact on the village of Friston & surrounding area, from Southward to Bawdsey, will be adversely affected by the proposed sub-station & associated cable runs. The primary income for this area is from tourism, day visitors, weekly visitors & those with holiday homes. The income from this provides work for pubs & restaurants, shops, for builders, painters & other tradesmen. The visitors & residents come to this area for the beauty, the openness, the walks and wildlife. All this will be gone. We have many narrow lanes in this area, mainly single track, totally unsuitable for heavy vehicles - construction traffic which will be around for many years will destroy the ability of residents, many elderly & vulnerable, to get about with ease. This whole situation fills me with despair.
