I note the representations made by SASES and Friston Parish Council and support and personally agree with all the issues raised in their submission. The temporary loss of year old views and the negative visual impact on rural views. The likelihood of further projects to utilise the National Grid facility in Friston The destruction of habitat to an area of agricultural landscape. The worry that noise impact will affect the area. Proposed lighting will affect local fauna. The disruption of the whole area during construction and pre construction stages with increased traffic of heavy commercial vehicles and unregulated private vehicles during the construction. The whole area will change from a quiet peaceful place to an industrial area with heavy traffic blocking the roads and with high noise pollution. There does not appear to be any benefit to local people and it is unlikely that there will be jobs for locals workers. Already the price of houses has dropped greatly in the area, and it is becoming almost impossible to sell houses in Friston and the surrounding area.
