Why do areas become listed as areas of AONB to protect them, then suddenly this will be ignored it makes a mockery of legislation The horrendous effect this will have on the Human population : noiise, dangerous levels of traffic ,loss of tourism & farming incomes, loss of leisure activities The Harm done to the wildlife & environment is far greater & may never recover with Birds never returning on their migratory routes, delicate ecosystems disrupted to name but a few issues . The disruption caused by the building of this enormous eyesore substationin the rural countryside seems a poor solution & appears to be for finacial gain of a few rather than a holistic approach to an energy policy that should be much more "joined" up & for this reason I am very against the present plans & would ask for more thought & discussions to prevent destruction of our AONB costal region.
