I object to the proposed construction for the following reasons. 1. The short and long term destruction of a beautiful and productive landscape is excessive as there are alternative locations and routes and designs that would be far less intrusive. They might cost more but over the life of the project and shared across the nation would be easily affordable. 2. We already have two industrial scale sites at Sizewell A and B and likely to have the extra burden of the construction of Sizewell C. Which adds up to too much for one small region to cope with. 3. The power companies should be made to accommodate one another and share land and routes to minimise cost and destruction of green fields. 4. Finally the economic impact and reduced tourism and trade in the area which will result if the present plans are followed is unnecessary and unfairly inflicted on the people who live here.
