My general concerns are the impact on the unspoilt countryside and coast, an AONB area - particularly Sandlings Heath. The threat to wildlife and the destruction of ancient woodland. Light and noise pollution. Increased traffic on small roads. Life in the quiet village of Friston will be altered by the presence of a substation complex.This is a tranquil area which attracts vistors and I fear the impact on the tourist industry. On a specific note I am concerned about the cable trench running too close to my home and workshop and the closure of the PRoW leading to my home.
