We understand that electricity is needed....green electricity........and therefore the continued use of offshore wind. We understand the need to bring this electricity on shore somewhere. But we do NOT understand why it should be brought on shore in an area of outstanding beauty, a big and economically important tourist area. There are brownfield sites....surely....where lives will not be spoilt, where countryside will not be so spoilt.
