I wish to object to this ScotishPower Renewables planning application for the following reasons: As someone who visits this part of Suffolk I am concerned that there will be a substantial cumulative impact on local communities when up to several energy projects occur consecutively over 12-15 years. I am also concerned for the Thorpeness Cliffs as being unsuitable for landing cables due to their fragility. The substations will be situated very close to the small village of Friston, ruining the unspoilt countryside with 11k of cable trenches which will destroy the environment, as well as threatening wildlife and destroying ancient woodland. The increased traffic on roads will cause noise, air and light pollution.
