I am supportive of offshore wind energy, but these plans for the onshore transmission infrastructure are excessive and I am very concerned about the extent to which they will destroy our Heritage Coast and tourist economy. I do not understand why all the energy companies/projects cannot talk to one another and share facilities which could be off shore or at Sizewell and thereby limit the effect on the Suffolk coastal region.
