  1. The cumulative impact on communities from up to 7 large energy projects is disproportionate 2. Areas of unspoilt countryside will be severely impacted, and the coastal district severely harmed. 3. There are better ways of bringing the offshore power onshore via connected platforms and landed at less sensitive locations closer to existing infrastructure. This is employed in other countries, such as Netherlands. 4. The local road network is wholly inadequate for the scale of work required. 5. In the event of a major incident at Sizewell, evacuation routes will be severely compromised 6. There will be severe impact on the local economy. The works will have little long term benefit to the locality, but cause severe damage to tourism and the environment.
