Dear Examining Authority, RE: EAST ANGLIA ONE NORTH OFFSHORE WINDFARM Whilst I support the move towards increased renewable power I wish to object to this Scottish Power Renewables planning application, for the following reasons: - damage to the quality of life of residents of Friston and those bordering on the site of the substation caused by the scale of the works and resulting structures - damage to unspoilt countryside and destruction of ancient woodland - damage to fragile ecosystems and resident and migrating wildlife - inappropriate use of farmland when there are brownfield alternatives - economic damage caused by the impact on tourism, an important industry in the region - loss of amenity through the permanent and temporary closure of PRoWs (footpaths, bridleways, byways and cycle paths) I therefore urge you to determine that Scottish Power Renewables must find a more suitable location for the substation for this windfarm. Yours Sincerely Dr Benjamin Booth
