As a resident of Snape with a business in Aldeburgh, I object to proposed substation at Friston on the following grounds: the access via A12 and A road from Friday Street to Aldeburgh are not suitable for the quantity and size of trucks; the beautiful rural village of Friston will be ruined by the construction work and the site work; our lovely coast is fragile and will be damaged; I own and run a business in Aldeburgh which will suffer as we rely on footfall and visitors to the beauties of the calm and rural East Coast. I do not feel that Scottish renewables have given due consideration to the other options, eg. the ringmain offshore or building the substation next to Cobra Mist on Orfordness, both of which are reasonable options. I also feel that the EDF plans for Sizewell and the Scottish Renewables plans have not been coordinated and our delicate and fragile environment, ecology and tourist industry will be blighted by these plans. I urge you to reconsider and look at less damaging alternatives. Mary James
