The countryside is extremely important in this area of the country. It unquestionably has an extremely positive impact on the culture, mental health and tourism of the area. It is beyond me (and many other citizens) as to why Scottish Power are unable to work with Sizewell C rather than destroying so much more of our nature that identifies Suffolk. The implementation of this project will also drastically affect the house prices of many of my personal friends who have invested their money in property in order to fund their pensions. It is disgraceful to so willingly tell these people that, should they pass away, they can no longer guarantee financial security for their children or that they can no longer enjoy the retirement they have worked so hard for.
