The current plans for onshore infrastructure has a detrimental impact on the local wildlife, in particular, severing the Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB and causing problems to migrating species and severing the wildlife corridor, as well as the destruction of ancient woodland. There are also serious concerns about the impact on the local tourism industry with increased road traffic caused by large trucks contributing to congestion and pollution, which may put many people off visiting one of the more untouched/ remote areas of UK.
