I wish to object to this ScottishPower Renewables planning application for the following reasons: The cumulative effect on local communities of up to 7 energy projects occurring consecutively over 12 - 15 years. 11KM of cable trenches, destroying environmentally sensitive ares. Cable trenches and haul roads too close to residential homes. Destruction of habitat and threat to wildlife affecting Sandlings Heath, Suffolk Coast & Heaths AONB. Light pollution - Suffolk's famous dark skies lost. Noise pollution. Air pollution. Increased traffic on roads that are unsuitable for high traffic levels and HGVs These are just some of the reasons for my objection. Overall, the area is dependent on tourism, and with the traffic congestion, noise and pollution that will occur, we shall be destroying the reasons for visitors to come here.....tranquillity, wildness, low volume of traffic, wildlife havens......and the reasons we choose to live here. I am in favour of renewable power, but not at the expense of this precious environment. There must be a better way.
