I wish to object to the Scottish Power Renewables planning application for the following reasons: - the unspoilt and environmentally rich Suffolk countryside is not the right place to be putting the equipment (landing cables, cabling, and in particular the vast substations) to get this power into the National Grid. Specifically, the Thorpness Cliffs are unsuitable and too fragile to be the landing cables site; and the sheer scale of the substation at Friston - the size of Wembley stadium - is completely unsuitable for unspoilt landscape. - damage done to wildlife both during and after construction from cable / trench building, severing the Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB and its wildlife corridors, damage to the rare habitats of Sandlings Heath and destruction of ancient woodland - the scale and duration of construction effort needed and the damage done to the local economy and local lives from this level of activity. Impacts on roads which were not built to enable the scale of construction traffic (endangering lives) and where significant congestion will impact on local businesses, in particular the important tourism economy in the region. Thank you
