Our objections and concerns are: We support offshore wind energy but feel the proposed plans for the onshore transmission infrastructure will have too great an impact on this small area of Suffolk. Impact on local communities of ongoing projects over a number of years. Huge detrimental ongoing impact on the environment, some of which may never recover. The current infrastructure is totally unsuitable for the amount of and type of extra vehicles involved Volume of HGvs on roads causing access problems for local residents for a long period of time Volume of HGVs deterring the tourist trade on which many local businesses rely for a long period of time Totally spoiling this part of Suffolks coastline and heaths - an AONB Concern that the upheaval and difficulties for local residents could be ongoing for several years, having a big effect on their quality of life.
