This proposal will ruin a beautiful and pristine part of the Suffolk countryside and blight Friston and surrounding hamlets. In addition a 60 metre wide trench will be dug over 9 kilometres destroying ancient trees and wrecking or blighting houses in its path. The plan is obviously flawed. The electricity should be connected to the grid at Sizewell or through the Bawdsey connector. SPR are the other energy companies are acting in an uncoordinated way as if they have free licence to wreck the East Anglian countryside. A striking feature of the public footpath path which runs through the proposed site is that it is far removed form any roads and always peaceful. You can enjoy the natural sounds of the countryside.
