My mother lives on the boundary of the substation and is 80 years old. Our intent has always be to move her to some were more suitable in older age. She is in a 4 bed house with 0.25 of an acre garden. This is becoming a burden now. The house was worth over 500k a couple of years ago but due to the substation the new valve we have been given this week is a low as 325000 last year it was 450,000. The idea that you can destroy the well being of people living with this shadow hanging over them is unbelievable. Please in force Scottish power to compensate people who’s life they have stolen. My mother was born in Friston and now looks like she will have to die in Friston were we all ways expected to move her to a bungalow more suitable to her.
