I’m aware of the need for more energy in the future, but I can’t support the proposed plan Scottish Power Renewables has submitted. I have been to the local public consultation exhibition in Aldeburgh and questioned the plan with project development staff who were on duty. The full impact of the development on our Heritage Coast is inconceivable, no matter how strongly Scottish Power try to present the plan as environmentally safe. The damage to our local countryside is unacceptable and will greatly affect the local tourist industry. I wish therefore, to strongly contest the proposed plan submitted by Scottish Power.
