My principal concern is the wilful destruction of unspoiled coastal countryside from Thorpeness Cliffs through Aldringham and Knodishall finally devastating the small Suffolk village of Friston. >The the construction and the long term effects of the massive infrastructure proposed will have deleterious effects on the lives of the Friston inhabitants. >The subsequent noise and air pollution will have a far-reaching effect across a much wider area of East Suffolk in the future. >I support wind farms and greener energy but not at the expense of people's lives, health and livelihoods which greener energy should improve not be detrimental. >Scottish Power suggests a benign company with its heart in lochs and glens but it is in fact a Spanish company which appears to have little regard of the impact and threat of its projects on an area of natural beauty, wildlife, and tranquility in a country to which it has no allegiance. > This project needs to stop and alternative sites explored.
