As you can see from my address I no longer live near to this area. It is an area that I know from visiting family and from holidaying there. It is an area of natural beauty. Not far from it Springwatch chose to film for a number of years. This is how they described it - The Suffolk coast is one of the wildest parts of the UK, and RSPB Minsmere is widely regarded as one of the best nature reserves in the UK, if not Europe. We’ll be exploring the rich diversity of internationally important habitats on and around the reserve, from sand dunes, shingle beaches and saline lagoons to reed-bed heathland, woodland and grassland. - This is about 7 miles from Friston so very similar habitat, about 30 acres of it, will be destroyed. This includes bat roosting sites which I thought were protected by law. It is also concerning that badgers setts are to be removed and hedge rows destroyed. I have only concentrated on one area of concern, there is of course the impact on those that live there, on the local roads, on the risk of flooding. The list goes on and on and out weighs any benefits.
