I am opposed to this area being used for onshore infrastructure supporting East Anglia North One. This area of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths is an AONB and a unique area of the UK, attracting visitors from all over the country and from abroad. The proposed work involved will ruin, literally ruin, a vast area from Thorpeness cliffs through Aldringham and Knodishall and taking up a huge area in Friston. It will destroy habitats and woodland. All of this is inappropriate. It will cause turmoil on existing roads which are not adequate for the workload. It will create health issues for local residents from hgv pollution, noise and soil disturbance, the soil here being so light. Brownfield sites, and offshore hubs and ringmains should be options for first choice. This is NOT an industrial area. The proposed development is not suitable for this area and will destroy East Anglia's coastal heritage.
