The plan to tear up the coast at Thorpness and the route to Friston will uneccesarily cause much distress and disruption to locals and tourists. The destruction caused by the substation in Friston will have a devestating affect on the local community and wildlife etc. There are alternatives such as an offshore ring main or the use of brownfield sites. National grid need to put more effor into persuing less harmful alternatives
