Wisbech March and District Trades Union Council opposes the proposed development by MVV of a “mega” waste incineration plant within the historic market town of Wisbech. We believe that any minimal employment benefits resulting from this development will be greatly outweighed by the potential negative impacts on the town and surrounding area, its economy and the lived environment.
