1 The 50MW threshold is unlikely to be met due to overcapacity of waste incineration. This is primarily a waste incinerator and will increase carbon release into the atmosphere. Burying plastic locks away carbon efficiently and effectively for the long term. Food and wood waste can and should be composted to replace peat usage. 2 Consultation failed to inform about the toxic impacts on air quality which will likely destroy the local agricultural and food factory economy as well as cause long term health issues among the population 3 Impact on the transport infrastructure would lead to significant problems on the A47 single carriageway from Guyhirn to Wisbech and in the centre of Wisbech 4 Recycling would be disincentivised due to councils being locked into contracts to provide sufficient waste
