Will the government offer compensation for the loss of value to my home, making a move away from an area with a incinerator impossible. Will there be compensation for the environmental loss, birds, animals and insects are also impacted and have no say, and compensation for all the health implications that an incinerator will bring. I have already fought two bouts of cancer and have a lung condition. This is an area of low population with low waste, so it means we have to bear the brunt of waste from high population areas being brought into this area by petrol heavy vehicles, the waste would have to travel long distances. THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. This area is already a deprived area, travel is essential for work, lorries travelling to and from an incinerator in this area will cause problems to the infrastructure and further traffic problems. This area is inappropriate. rural roads and the infrastructure in this area are not robust enough to take the heavy vehicles or the incinerator. Norfolk is an area of outstanding natural beauty, have Norfolk been consulted as the area will also become part of this fall out. All Statutory Consultees have already passes a unanimous Motion against the incinerator, and there is already an oversupply of incinerators in the East of England. So, why has this area been targeted again. Incinerators should be built near to high populated areas so nothing has to travel too far BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY Incineration is outdated, and will increase carbon dioxide, health issues, environmental issues and it is ante Net Zero. RECYCLING or PREVENTION should be the priority.
