Washington Parish Council as Trustee of the Washington Recreation Ground Charity, requests to be registered as an Interested Party in the examination of the Rampion 2 Offshore Wind Farm application. The Charity has a land interest in the proposed cable route which affects the Washington Recreation Ground and Allotment Land. Both are protected Green Spaces in the made Storrington & Sullington and Washington Neighbourhood Plan, and registered Community Assets. This registration is without prejudice to the Parish Council’s separate registration as an Interested Party representing the local community in the Washington Parish. As Trustee, we intend to raise similar points to those raised by the Parish Council about the impact of the proposed cabling works in respect of our land.
