I strongly oppose this project as it will have a profoundly negative impact on my families life the local impact on our lives will be significant I was not sent the first round of letters and maps and as a result i was not able to have proper input into the proposals i am aware that this happened to many local people so the whole process has not had full consultation and if this project goes ahead it will be fundamentally flawed with critical alternatives ignored or not considered i attended a meeting hosted by Rampion and was extremely concerned that many or the proposed scheme proposals had not had any input from local people and when asked for clarification of items like Kent street suitability for heavy vehicles along a single track, the affect of the cable digging , the impact on our lives , access to and from the A272 and the traffic jams that will happen, the affect on our health due to noise and air pollution, the substantial reduction of the value of our houses etc the answers were poor and showed a complete lack of consideration by Rampion of the many local issues that will cause mayhem such as serious congestion, the continuous noise pollution, the serious affect on local small single tracks such as Kent Street, the visual impact of the enormous sub station, the affect on our small businesses, the dangerous lorry and truck usage of Kent Street a single lane with bicycles, horses, walkers, and children please consider my strongest possible concern at this project going ahead and re think by examining the far better alternatives
