The application is for an offshore wind farm with an area up to approximately 196km2 comprising up to 90 wind turbines off the coast of Bognor Regis. With the proposed development in such close proximity to Bognor Regis, it is acknowledged by elected Members of the Town Council that it would likely have a significant impact on the lives of residents and visitors to the Town. Therefore, Bognor Regis Town Council would like to register as an interested party to ensure that the Council continues to have a voice. Members of the Planning and Licensing Committee will review the application documents again at its meeting to be held on 31 October 2023 at which they will be invited to agree any further comments to be submitted in response to the examination.
