  1. The cost of offshore wind generated electricity is excessive compared with other energy sources and we, the end users, will have to pay for it over many years to come. 2. This has all occured because the govt. have for many years, failed to develop a practical and affordable energy policy . 3. The outcome is this attricious visual scar on the coastline that will be unavoidably visible for miles and miles and ruin the natural outlook. 4. The number and scale of the turbines is truly staggering. I understand that they are the height of the Eiffel tower and about 90 of them. 5. To get the essential cabling ashore we will get yet another major development project inflicted on the small village of Climping which is already overun with so much and totally inadequate infrastructure to support it. 6. There is no plan to provide any funding for local projects, such as restoring Climping beach and providing flood defences. The EA say they have no money for it but the cost is a fraction of tjat required for this monstrosity. 7. The impact of the construction works alone, over many years, will be intolerable on this small community. 8. This project is yet another example of the efforts towards Net Zero, which is itself pointless when itscontribution in world terms is negligible. Please stop IT NOW.
