Whilst I support the need for cleaner energy, I must take issue with the size, scale and sighting of the Rampion 2 development. At around 8 miles It is much too close to our coastline. If these are to be up to 325 metres in height and up to 90 in number they will dominate and destroy the coastline view. What is the point of having a government policy that issues guidance on the siting of these structures if companies feel free to flout that guidance? These turbines should not be in inshore waters. One of the attractions for us in moving from Brighton was to enjoy a sea view not blighted by wind turbines.
